Delete your FameMaker account
Effective 2026-10-23
Delete your account in the app
- Open the FameMaker app and sign in.
- Go to Settings (or Account).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read what will be deleted, then confirm. You may be asked for your password.
Deletion starts right away. You will be signed out and will not be able to sign in again with that account.
Can’t open the app? Email support@famemaker.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
What is deleted
- Your profile, sign-in details and preferences
- Photos, videos, AI character reference images and content created in FameMaker
- Drafts, schedules and posts that have not been published yet
- Access tokens for every connected social account (we stop posting immediately)
- Fame Game points, levels, streaks and any leaderboard entries
- Notification subscriptions
Content is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Copies in backups are overwritten on our regular backup schedule.
What we may keep
- Payment and billing records, as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to seven years).
- Records of the terms you accepted, to show what was agreed (generally up to seven years).
- Limited security logs, generally up to 12 months, to prevent fraud and abuse.
- Information we must keep to comply with the law, resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms.
Posts already published to Instagram, TikTok or other platforms stay there until you delete them on that platform. We cannot delete them for you after your account is gone.
Revoke connected social media permissions
Deleting your FameMaker account deletes our access tokens. You can also remove FameMaker’s access in each platform. Menu names change from time to time; these are the usual paths:
- Instagram: Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites › remove FameMaker.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites › remove FameMaker.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy › Security & permissions › Apps and services permissions › remove FameMaker.
- Google and YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions › FameMaker › Remove access.
- X: Settings and privacy › Security and account access › Apps and sessions › Connected apps.
- Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads: look for “Apps”, “Connected apps” or “Permitted services” in the platform’s settings.
To disconnect a single account but keep your FameMaker account, open Connections in the app and tap Disconnect.
